Wouldn’t it be great if most events started in the middle of the day, the sun high, everyone warm and the light as good as it can be? Sadly the length of events and road closure timings mean a 7am start isn’t out of the ordinary, and as we all know the light 30 minutes after the gun goes off is very different, and even more so as the morning progresses.

Special patented photochromatic dyes cause the lens to activate, or darken, when exposed to ultraviolet rays from sunlight. When the UV light diminishes, the lenses fade back. As light conditions change, the level of tint adjusts, offering the right tint at the right time.
Designed to fit the face perfectly with a density of silicone and TPR are matched to create a perfect fit and a feather like feel even on the most interesting of facial profiles. For a great swim you need a comfortable fit and the ability to see as much as possible while having as much light as possible blocked out when the sun is high, or water reflection is optimal.

Misschien wel het belangrijkste onderdeel van je uitrusting op de wedstrijddag is je zwembril. Een stuk uitrusting dat zo vanzelfsprekend is voor velen van ons, maar zonder is al onze voorbereiding en training voor niets geweest. Het is tijd om je zwembril serieus te nemen en echt te begrijpen wat je nodig hebt op de wedstrijddag.
Zou het niet geweldig zijn als de meeste evenementen op het midden van de dag begonnen, de zon hoog, iedereen warm en het licht zo goed mogelijk Helaas betekenen de lengte van evenementen en de wegafsluitingen dat een start om 7 uur 's ochtends niet ongewoon is, en zoals we allemaal weten is het licht 30 minuten nadat het kanon is afgegaan heel anders, en zelfs nog meer naarmate de ochtend vordert.

Speciale gepatenteerde fotochromatische kleurstoffen zorgen ervoor dat de lens wordt geactiveerd, of donkerder wordt, wanneer deze wordt blootgesteld aan ultraviolette stralen van zonlicht. Wanneer het UV-licht afneemt, vervagen de lenzen weer. Als de lichtomstandigheden veranderen, past de tint zich aan, zodat je op het juiste moment de juiste tint krijgt.
Ontworpen om perfect op het gezicht te passen met een dichtheid van silicone en TPR die op elkaar zijn afgestemd om een perfecte pasvorm en een vederlicht gevoel te creëren, zelfs op de meest interessante gezichtsprofielen. Om goed te kunnen zwemmen heb je een comfortabele pasvorm nodig en de mogelijkheid om zoveel mogelijk te zien terwijl er zoveel mogelijk licht wordt tegengehouden als de zon hoog staat of de waterreflectie optimaal is.
